Settlements on the customer's account are usually done after the order is approved and ready for shipment. Occasionally customers click the "Submit Order" button more than once and create extra authorizations on their credit card. MyJewelryBox only settles one authorization per customer and does not charge the customers credit card when multiple authorizations are placed.

Whats is an authorization?
An authorization is a freezing of funds on a credit card which can either be settled or canceled. Canceled authorizations take 3-5 business days to be released by the customer's bank.

What is a settlement?
A settlement is when funds are requested from the customers credit card company in order for payment on a pruchase.  MyJewelryBox.com only settles one authorization per customer.

How long does a refund take?
A refund on a credit card is usually performed 1-3 days after the MyJewelryBox.com item is returned. Refunds can take up 2 weeks to be posted to a customer account.
